If you start off having a readymade pizza crust or even a ball of readymade dough, this can be a timesaver in itself. Pizza dough is fantastic mainly because you are able to roll it out yourself, which makes it search homemade. A perfectly round pizza crust doesn't seem really so homemade, of course! You may also invest in pizza sauce but it is just as basic to generate your own. You can combine tomato sauce with fresh chopped basil to create a fantastic pizza sauce or use minced garlic. For a white pizza sauce, what about using sour cream as the base and adding garlic and minced herbs?
